ACRISON Polymer Activation System:
  • The Model 530 Liquid Polymer Preparation Module is designed with an extremely effective, two-stage, motorless activation system to produce a precise, uniform and thoroughly activated solution in an economical and compact package.

  • In operation, a metering pump accurately meters liquid polymer directly into Acrison's unique Dispersion-Injector, where the polymer disperses into a thin, fine conical stream while simultaneously, mixing with vigorously flowing water. The output solution from the Dispersion-Injector discharges into a specially designed Static Activation Chamber where final and complete polymer activation occurs.

  • Acrison's Dispersion-Injector utilizes a highly efficient and reliable technique to first disperse and then mix liquid polymer with water; it alone produces a superior quality solution prior to the solution entering the Static Activation Chamber. Its novel design does not include any components anywhere within the liquid polymer supply line, and because all of its internal areas are continuously flushed with rapidly flowing water, it will not clog. In addition, the Dispersion-Injector completely contains and isolates the liquid polymer whenever the metering pump is not operating or the Preparation Module itself is shut off.

  • The two-stage activation system of Acrison's Model 530 Polymer Preparation Module (the combination of the Polymer Dispersion-Injector and Static Activation Chamber) assures gentle handling of liquid polymer without in any way exposing the fragile, elongated polymer chains to damaging energy. In addition, by controlling the liquid polymer throughout both stages of the activation process, polymer short-circuiting and/or under-processed or over-processed polymer cannot occur.

  • Designed and manufactured by Acrison, both the Polymer Dispersion-Injector and Static Activation Chamber are maintenance-free, corrosion-proof and self-cleaning.

  • Acrison's Model W-105 Series of dissimilar speed, Double Concentric Auger Volumetric Feeders are universally recognized for their highly dependable, all-around superior performance.

Model W-105:
  • The Model W-105 is recommended for feeding alum, ferrous sulphate, ferric sulphate, potassium permanganate, sodium silico fluoride and other moderately free-flowing chemicals.

  • The Intromitter (large conditioning auger), seal components and discharge cylinder are 304 stainless steel.

  • The metering auger is 316 stainless steel.

  • Available with either a one cubic foot supply hopper or a flanged conditioning chamber. The flanged conditioning chamber (measuring 6 1/2" x 11 5/8") may be furnished with a cover having a circular inlet up to a maximum of six inches in diameter.

  • Designed with a six inch diameter Intromitter (large "conditioning" auger).

  • Furnished with a 1/2 HP, totally enclosed DC motor, operated by one of Acrison's various model SCR/DC Controllers, providing either a 30:1 or 50:1 speed range. Dust-tight construction.

  • Heavy-duty construction for exceptional longevity. Very low maintenance. Silent when operating. Maximum output capacity is 57.5 cubic feet per hour.

W-105Z Series:
  • The Model W-105Z is recommended for feeding the more difficult-to-handle materials such as hydrated lime, soda ash, activated carbon, diatomaceous earth and other non-free-flowing chemicals.

  • The Intromitter (large conditioning auger), seal components and discharge cylinder are 304 stainless steel.

  • The metering auger is 316 stainless steel.

  • Available with either a one cubic foot supply hopper or a flanged conditioning chamber. The flanged conditioning chamber (measuring 12" x 17 3/8") may be furnished with a cover having a circular inlet up to a maximum of twelve inches in diameter.

  • Designed with a ten inch diameter Intromitter (large "conditioning" auger).

  • Furnished with a 1 HP, totally enclosed DC motor, operated by one of Acrison's various model SCR/DC Controllers, providing either a 30:1 or 50:1 speed range.

  • Dust-tight construction.

  • Heavy-duty construction for exceptional longevity.

  • Silent when operating.

  • Very low maintenance.

  • Maximum output capacity is 110 cubic feet per hour.
